Everything about this hotel was wonderful. The accommodations where larger than expected with a great view. The breakfast was wonderful as well as the facility for after dinner beverages. The staff was exceptionally friendly. Our family was able to use the bikes for some exploring and a few of us indulged in the spa facilities.

This was such an amazing experience. The hotel is amazing, and nestled in a beautifully scenic area. The view of the Alps and surrounding castles was breathtaking. The staff was wonderful, and the amenities were incredible. We particularly loved the sauna and spa which is above and beyond for a typical hotel. The accommodations were lovely and the breakfast was one of the best we’ve experienced in Europe. I would highly recommend this property!

The castle view was amazing. By the time we arrived most things in town we closed but it was worth the long travel just for the view from the balcony. The castle view was so special and the actual property was beautiful too. It was only the next morning in the daylight we realised that you could also see the Hohenschwangau castle from the front of the property. The staff were really helpful and friendly and breakfast was such good value for 1 Euro!
Amazing location next to the Alpsee lake, and the Neuschwanstein and Hohenschwangau castles. The hotel is right across the street from where the horse carriages and buses pick tourists to go to Neuschwanstein. The staff was helpful and really polite. The kids loved the stay here, the rooms, and the food at the hotel. And they had fun seeing the robot that cleans the plates for breakfast (included in the price as the parking.)
Location is ideal for visiting the castles, immediately next door to the shuttle stop--the recommended way to get up to Neuschwanstein Castle. The hotel is also just a short (but uphill) walk to Hohenschwangau Castle. The included breakfast was complete, hot and delicious. Hotel and restaurant staff were all very friendly and helpful, and the hotel is impeccably clean. We ate dinner at the hotel restaurant both nights of our stay, and the food was delicious.
