It’s well located, but the numbering on Bishan road is all over the place, so it took us a while to find it. Once we got there, the environment is tranquil and the view of the 3rd level is stunning. The breakfast is extremely good. Home cooked congee with fresh fruit.

The hotel room was clean, spacious and comfortable. The location is good with Zhongshan Road which is a bustling street for having meals and shopping a walking distance from the hotel.
I had chosen the hotel as it is just across Gulangyu and near to Zhongshan Road. The service is generally fine. The housekeeping lady Ms He (9th flr) and the conceign staff Mr Chen are very helpful.
This hotel is at the center of Zhongshan Road in the mid of hustle and bustle activities. It is convenient to go anywhere from the hotel within walking distance. One thing is not to my satisfaction is that on the publicized hotel page listed the building as one big tall building, the hotel that I stayed was the branch hotel. I was taken aback as not up to the publicized hotel as shown.
Wonderfully big room facing gulangyu, definitely value for money. Staff were friendly and there’s also a 24-hr convenient store nearby. Many great food options opposite the hotel and near to zhongshan road.
Very unique experience to stay in the ancient building from 200 years ago. Location is also very near Zhongshan Road shopping district. The owner is very friendly and helpful, helped to bring our heavy luggage up to the second floor.
Good location. MTR System Line 1 Zhenhai Rd station(1st station for Line 1) Exit 3A is just next to the hotel. Near Zhongshan road walking street. A lot of eatery around the areas. Breakfast is considered reasonably good for both of us as they are not too oily and salty. Reasonably good spreads of selections.
