The hotel is renovated from a historical building. While the external looks like old Shanghai style, the facility in room is modern and smart. Color mode is white and black, but makes you feel very warm. The staff are all super friendly, especially a girl named Vicky. The bar on top floor is also great, with good view and chilled atmosphere.
Located in the heart of Shanghai, The St. Regis Reign on the Bund, Shanghai features spectacular views of the Bund, Huangpu River and Pudong skyline.

The staff gave me excellent tips to places to visit and the best time to do it to enjoy them more. Special thanks to Mr Jimmy, you were so kind! The hotel had movie night and free dinner on Christmas Eve, that was a lovely touch

1. The location is convenient in that it is on East Nanjing Road and once you leave hotel front door, turn right will walk you to the Bund area which is where you can see all the beautiful harbour at night. Note I also went during the day. From a historical perspective, this was the British area. However, car/bus transport is atrocious as there is only a side dead end road for drop off and pickup. I wouldn't be able to stand more than the 3 nights I stayed there.
2. The pool table on ground floor was great
3. Apart from the first check in man we encountered, everyone else was friendly.
4. There was sufficient ground floor seating.
