The hotel is beautiful, with an inner courtyard which is nicely decorated. The room was very spacious and had an ample terrace. The location is fantastic, very close to Wenshu monastery and to the subway station. The staff at the front desk did not speak English but were extremely kind and helpful. They booked the Panda Centre tickets for us, as well as a show for the traditional Sichuan theatre.
Ideally set in Chengdu, Xishu Garden Inn features air-conditioned rooms, a garden, free WiFi and a shared lounge.

First of all, I want to mention Frank, the manager. He really makes every effort possible to help his western guests with anything they need - which can otherwise be very complicated in China. His English is perfect, so you can ask him anything. He let us choose which room was most suitable for us, as we stayed 12 nights. The courtyard is very nice to sit in for breakfast or dinner. Food is excellent. Many nice shops just outside the hotel, Metro in close walking distance. As we stayed a bit longer, airport transfer was included and free.

Rebuilt in 1697, the original monastery fell victim to the Ming dynasty war, with its current reconstruction standing as the best-preserved Buddhist temple in Chengdu. This place is spectacular. The room was amazing with loads of modern touches. The bed was massive. The staff were lovely, so helpful and spoke great English. The breakfast was good and the restaurant served very nice food. The location is a short walk to Wenshu Monastery and the metro.

Well located, just over 10 minutes from the metro and a 15-minute walk from Wenshu Monastery. Close to convenience stores and cheap restaurants. If you don't mind the smell of cigarrettes in the common areas and are looking for something cheap, even if not very comfortable, it might be a good option for a few nights. Wi-Fi works very well.

The hotel is in a beautiful old building right next to Wenshu Monastery. It is close to the city centre, and you can easily walk to a lot of places such as Tianfu Square and the People's Park. It is also close to a metro station. The room was also beautiful, although a little cold. Unfortunately, the WiFi wasn't great, and I struggled to get a connection. Breakfast was really good.
Everything is excellent. I stayed here 6 years ago and was happy to visit this place again. Good location (15 min by feet from metro Wenshu monastery, in historical center of city), it's easy to find using google maps. Personal speaks very fluent English, they are very friendly. There are different activities (like party) in this hotel. Room is very clean, coffe-machine and bar in lobby, wi-fi works good. Thank you for all.
