The staff were really lovely even though they could not really assist in my losing internet connection (due to blocks/ VPN etc). Did their best to be helpful and were very nice. Location was really good- only drawback was that I did not realise that the hotel had no road access and being left on the nearest road by taxi driver, trying to find the hotel while lugging a suitcase was rather stressful especially when I didn’t know where to go. Thankfully, the Chinese are so incredibly helpful and a man was able to take me to the hotel.

set in a nice and quiet neighborhood, but close to transport. The hotel has been nicely refurbished with small but comfortable rooms. It has no restaurant or breakfast, but there are plenty of options in Chengdu. There is free water, tea and coffee in the lobby and you can do your laundry. Lovely hotel in the heart of Chengdu. Well maintained and equipped, stylish decor, pleasant staff, large bathtub and spacious shower. Excellent location - a few minutes walk to Kuanzhai Alleys, or Tianfu Square ; close to Tonghuimen subway station.
The hotel is in a beautiful old building right next to Wenshu Monastery. It is close to the city centre, and you can easily walk to a lot of places such as Tianfu Square and the People's Park. It is also close to a metro station. The room was also beautiful, although a little cold. Unfortunately, the WiFi wasn't great, and I struggled to get a connection. Breakfast was really good.
