This hotel has been around for close to 30 years, which is old for Beijing Chaoyang standards, so it is a bit of a nostalgic experience. The executive lounge is still nice, but populated by loud locals, which makes working there a little difficult at times. The location is great if you have things to do in the Guomao area.

I had an incredible stay at this hotel! The room was beautifully designed and had a unique charm that made it stand out from typical hotel accommodations. The highlight of my stay was the breathtaking view—it perfectly captured the entire Beijing cityscape. Watching the sunrise from my room was an unforgettable experience.

Everything. The place. The location. All the staff. Breakfast. We loved this hotel. It’s a perfect 10/10. Two malls at 4 minutes by car from hotel. Cafes & restaurants at walking distance. If you are a muslim there’s a halal restaurant at walking distance.
The hotel is showing its age with chipped walls and dated finishing. The bed is comfortable and clean, and everything is perfectly fine for a business trip. Walking distance to The Place and China World Mall, both with plenty of food and shopping options.
The place was a home away from home for me. The location is very quiet and everything you need is just around the corner. The bed and the couch are very comfortable. I loved the view from the apartment! Really nothing to complain about!
The best thing was the communication and help I got from the staff (I mostly dealt with Angela). Quick answers with any kind of problem, booking tours or tickets... Everything you could wish for. This made my stay in Beijing extra special and easy.

Hotel was a short walk to Line 2 subway station and very close to multiple restaurants that stay open until late at night. Area seemed very safe and staff was friendly. I stayed for 5 nights and would recommend the place to anyone who wants a more budget friendly accommodation that still feels high end. Would stay here again.
The hotel is very well located on Wangfujing street and close to the places of attraction. The staff and especially those in the executive lounge on the 10th floor were extremely kind. (Hi Lilly 👋) The room was very clean and comfortable thanks to the housekeeping staff.
Excellent location, 24 hour reception, good backpacker vibes, it was easy to make friends and go out to dinner. I don't understand the horrible reviews on hostel world, the place was fine (although it helps if you speak Chinese or have experience in 1 star Chinese hotels)
I liked it because the place is very different than a standard Chinese hotel. It is a completely different vibe. Not that I'm not into Chinese culture, I love it, but when it comes to hospitality, hotels in general don't aim at foreigners. Stey is a place for foreigners who want to enjoy the most vibrant artistic neighbourhood in Beijing.
The place is located conveniently near to subway stations (to or from the airport and travelling around the city). There are also famous landmark near the hotel. The staff are also nice and will try their best to talk to you in english.
The manager was very kind, he speaks English fluently and helped me to book my tour to the Great Wall. The place is in a good location in a calm hutong neighborhood. They have some cute cats around the hostel and at the hall they put some jazz music and there’s space to work or eat.
