The staff at this hotel were excellent. On arrival, we were upgraded for free to a one bedroomed suite. They also settled a matter regarding breakfast as we were informed it was included, but for some reason, it hadn't come through on the booking.com confirmation. The room was extremely comfortable with good amenities. We never used the gym or swimming pool as we ran out of time. However, we went to look around, and the pool area looked lovely and the gym well equipped. As for location, it was perfect for sightseeing downtown, and the mall attached was very convenient.

We loved the staff who were so kind and helpful. They allowed us to check in early when we arrived from the train and helped us to order a taxi 🚕
All the staff were helpful and polite including the cleaning team.
Also, the facilities in the room are excellent. High quality presumably Chinese (‘Japanese-style’) toilets in rooms, seperate toilet and shower (such a sensible design!)

I stayed at the hotel a week ago before going to JiuZhaiGou for a couple of days. Decided to continue staying with this hotel upon my returned due to the exceptionally friendly and helpful staff (thanks Frank, Kimberley, Joey and Jack) who never hesitate to provide a helping hand with a smile (very important!). On this second stay, many thanks particularly to Kimberley who has provided me with good information on my day trip to Mount Qingcheng. Of course the close proximity of the property to the metro station is a big plus too!
