The traditional courtyard design was unique and provided a serene and cozy environment. It offered a real sense of staying in an authentic part of Beijing, blending history with comfort. The hotel’s central location in a historic hutong meant we were close to major attractions and surrounded by the vibrant local culture. It was the perfect base for sightseeing and exploring local shops and eateries. Despite their compact size, the rooms were comfortable, clean, and well-maintained, with all the necessary amenities. The communal courtyard was a peaceful spot to unwind after busy days, perfect for chatting with family or other guests over tea. Overall, the combination of Mark’s hospitality, the unique ambiance, and the convenient location made our stay truly special.

Lovely hotel with truly exceptional staff. The receptionists were amazing and helped us will all our transport and visit bookings and gave us really good advice for dinner/ sightseeing. The staff at breakfast was also very very nice. The location is perfect, very calm.
