The Regent is a solid, comfortable hotel, with good location. I enjoyed my stay there, and I appreciated the attention to detail from the staff, special thanks for my lovely little birthday cake! Good hotel near metro station and Qianmen street. You can find small shops and places to eat around. Usually, hotel personnel can communicate in English. Towels and trash bins were changed every day. Drinking water was given daily. There are electric kettle and cups, tea bags, air conditioning, TV, slippers in the room. Cheap laundry is available (but take into account that underwear and socks are prohibited to put into washing machine).
We stayed for 6 nights for a super cheap price and it was definitely worth it! Nice and helpful staff who spoke English very well. Hotel atmosphere was old Beijing and very beautiful. Room was ok. Small and a bit worn out, but still comfortable. Location was perfect, 5 minute walk from Qianmen street and subway.
