Everything about it was amazing. First of all, location is absolutly perfect, right in the center of the old town, right next to the crossing of the two main steets. And despite that, we were well isolated from the noise in the evening.
The room was very cosy, located at the back of a traditional courtyard. It was spotless and looked great. We even received a lovely little carpackage with local specialities.
And last but not least, the personnel was extremely kind and accomodating. Alice gave us all the tips and information on how best to visit Pingyao and helped us with reservations and ticket purchasing, etc…

The Chinese breakfast for my friends was excellent, and a good effort was made to provide me with an English breakfast.
The room was a typical Chinese style bedroom, and had all the necessary facilities.

We really liked this hotel. The rooms had a very authentic vibe. Lots of room for luggage and nice bed as well. Breakfast was also nice. The staff didn't really speak English but used a translating app which worked fine. They picked us up from the trainstation for free and also drove us back. That was a major plus. Wish we could have stayed longer than one night because Pingyao is a really nice place.
