Gongxili - Xige Hotel, hotel in Chengdu

Attractively set in Chengdu, Gongxili - Xige Hotel features air-conditioned rooms, a fitness centre, free WiFi and a garden.

Very centrally located but also in a relatively quiet street in Chengdu, easy to be picked up via taxi and lots of rentable bicycles right outside. The closest metro stop on Line 2 which houses most of the main lines in Chengdu, including to Taikoo Li and the People's Park. Amazing facilities, including a hot and cold water dispenser - a huge (and rare) luxury given most Chinese hotels will just give you bottled water. Rooms were modern, clean and well-maintained with a huge king size bed, and had a giant TV with various streaming capabilities on Chinese sites, and also had an Alexa/voice assistant. The staff were extremely accommodating - we appreciated the welcome snacks, drinks in the mini-fridge, and that there was a staff member available to help do and deliver our laundry to our rooms free of charge. They even prepared breakfast to-go when we needed to leave before 7AM, and received meal deliveries for us. The hotel is within walking distance to Kuanzhai Alley and next door to Shu Feng Ya Yun Sichuan Opera which we highly recommend. Be sure to visit San He Pu hotpot too. Highly recommended!

Located along the historic Qintai Path, Chengdu Wenjun Mansion Hotel (Kuanzhai Xiangzi Branch) is decorated in a traditional Chinese style, a 5-minute walk from Tonghuimen Subway Station (Line 2).

Traditional vibe in a modern city located in the BEST area. On the other side of the street there is the chinese opera which was a big Highlight! Also the stuff speaks perfect english and was ready to help at any time. Love to you guys!

The hotel has a lot of character. It's in the details, from the traditional roof to the tea sets. Staff are very friendly, and when you walk out you can see all the vibrant stalls and unique character of Chengdu. We got lost trying to get back to the hotel on our first night, and they sent a staff to our location and he walked us back to the hotel.

set in a nice and quiet neighborhood, but close to transport. The hotel has been nicely refurbished with small but comfortable rooms. It has no restaurant or breakfast, but there are plenty of options in Chengdu. There is free water, tea and coffee in the lobby and you can do your laundry. The staff don’t speak English but communicate through translation apps and are very helpful.

Staff is v helpful. Especially doris. She helps me book tickets, which is really a great obstacle for me. They are v spontaneous to help me fix all kinds of issue.
