Incredibly beautiful location on the west shore of West Lake. Beautiful grounds - like staying in a nature park / Chinese Garden. Breakfast was an amazing bounty of Chinese and western dishes - everything was fresh and expertly prepared. Great location for visiting the West Lake region.

This was a truly beautiful, wonderfully designed hotel with an exceptional staff (special shout-out to Tina at the front desk but everyone was SO helpful and kind. Best breakfast we’ve had in China! Friendly staff. Lovely room - nice decor, comfortable bed. Good shower, and the high-tech toilet was great. Enjoyed the location: far from the crowds, yet easily accessible by bus. The Maojiabu area is picturesque, and the China National Tea Museum is within walking distance.
