This was the second time I've stayed at the Buddha Zen and it remains a low-key delight. Charming, helpful staff, comfortable rooms and a great location, full of life and good local food. Make sure you go to the Wenshu Yuan tea garden. This hotel out-charms many more expensive and luxurious rivals.

One of the best hotels we stayed at, the staff is so kind and helpful with everything and everyone is speaking english very well. The location is perfect, close to the metro station, tea houses and much more. We loved our stay!

Minimalist hotel, with lots of charm and extremely well located in Chengdu. I really liked the hotel, which had extremely helpful and pleasant staff. Very well decorated and equipped rooms. Very varied breakfast with typical regional cuisine and western options. Zen hotel environment and location (as throughout China) are very safe. Security is effectively not a problem in this country. Everything very clean and organized. The hotel is just 12km from Panda Research Center and Didi is very easy to call at the hotel. I really liked the personalized mugs they provide in the rooms and the hotel kindly sold me one. Efficiency, quality and organization are the adjectives for this boutique hotel.

The hotel is perfectly located right next to a department store, and I loved grabbing my grape tea from Hey Tea, which was just a few steps away. The staff were super nice, and the room was quite spacious—definitely worth the money. We really enjoyed our stay, and the breakfast was absolutely delicious. The noodles were fantastic!

The best hotel we have ever stayed in (and we travelled all over the world). The staff was just out-of-this world lovely. They were helpful beyond words! The facilities were luxurious: swimming pool, sauna, steam bath, hottub, cold tub, gym, yoga room, massage chairs in the retreat room, indoor children 's play room, restaurant. The hotel is very conveniently connected with a shopping mall with restaurants on the upper floor. Take the short cut through the shopping mall and the subway station line 2 is just a few minutes walking from the lobby. Tianfu square is walking distance, and the opera house is right across the street. Certainly recommend this hotel
