this is a cozy and wonderful place. it's nice that it's away from the noise and the center (although on the island everything is very close anyway). So much warmth and care from the hosts!! they helped us rent a car, recommended a guide. They even brought a thing forgotten in the house before the flight!! and what sunrises and sunsets and the view from the top of the hill! I remember and really want to go back there! thank you very much from the bottom of my heart

Kona Koa Eco Lodge is a wonderful place to be--the room was very nice and just what I was looking for. The bed was very comfortable and the view was really nice. The grounds of the property are quite beautiful. The entire process of booking the property, multiple questions and answers post booking (e.g., cash versus credit card, laundry service, car rental, etc) and checking in and out was excellent. When I was in Rapa Nui, the property manager was very accessible on WhatsApp. I received restaurant recommendations which proved to be excellent, I asked for a recommendation for a local guide and the guide that was recommended was a fantastic guide. I was able to rent the car from Kona Koa and they picked me up and dropped me off at the airport. The entire experience was fantastic! The location is just far enough from town to be quiet but close enough that it only takes a few minutes to get to town. Two of the restaurants that were recommended were less than 5 minutes away

I chose this place for the views and for the reviews, and both were good reasons. It was a peaceful and beautiful location, and Rosi is one of the kindest people I have ever met. My friend and I had an amazing time, and it was all thanks to a small bit of good luck and a huge portion of Rosi's hospitality. What a gift she gave us to host us so thoughtfully.

A little deceptive as you think you are booking something, then you get something else. It was a good location and price for both of us, but our stay was full of miscommunication with the owners and overall a pretty poor stay. The best part? We had to move to the nearby Cabañas Rapua for the last three nights and it was awesome.
