The breakfast was superb. I wasn't expecting anything other than a croissant and juice. However there was a small hot selection, croissants, bread, yogurt, muesli, fruit salad, whole fruit, cheese, meat and a selection of juices! The staff was extremely friendly and helpful. The room was up to date (multiple sockets including USB ones) and clean.
Royal Savoy Hotel & Spa is located in the centre of Lausanne and a 5-minute walk from Lake Geneva. The Fine Arts Museum is 10 minutes away from the hotel.

The staff is the nicest I've ever met! Obviously the whole place is like a dream, I'm definitely coming back!
The location is perfect, very close to the lake.
There's coed spa and women-only spa, too, which contributes to the level of comfort.

Very friendly staff particularly Celestin. He made me feel at ease and was very helpful during the check-in process. Offered to take me on a tour of the hotel despite that I checked in well after midnight. He was kind and polite enough to check if I had settled well once I got to my room. I will certainly visit again

Fantastic gym, sauna and hamam. Comfy beds. Friendly and helpful staff. Loved the bakery that is partly inside the hotel. Partnership with La Bella Vista pizza place next door, which offers the biggest and most delicious pizzas for a reasonable price.

The hotel is strategically located in front of Lausanne railway station and very close to a subway station from where you can reach both the Léman Lake and the upper city centre in a few minutes.
There are restaurants and other services in the area. The Musée Cantonal de Beaux-arts is only a hundred metres away (near the railway station).
Hotel du Port is a small family run 3* hotel. Its location is excellent - overlooking the lake, the promenade and the mountains; the metro is 2 minutes walk and connects the hotel with Lausanne railway station and city centre in 7 minutes. The rooms are spacious, very clean; the hotel staff is friendly and very helpful.

I had a single room on the 5th. floor for my first stay, which was more than adequate for my needs. On my second stay I had a very large room on the second floor which was very grand. Both rooms had air conditioning. The hotel is close to Lausanne railway station, and metro and trolleybus stops. In common with many Swiss hotels, a public transport pass was provided at no extra cost for the duration of both my stays in Lausanne.A
