The staff is the nicest I've ever met! Obviously the whole place is like a dream, I'm definitely coming back!
The location is perfect, very close to the lake.
There's coed spa and women-only spa, too, which contributes to the level of comfort.
Built in 1915 and representing an important part of the historical heritage of Lausanne, the Lausanne Palace is an elegant 5-star hotel in the heart of the business and shopping district.
Renovated and housed in an Art Deco building, the family-run hotel is located in a quiet pedestrian area in the centre of Lausanne, near Flon Metro Station and a 10-minute walk from the train...

The breakfast was superb. I wasn't expecting anything other than a croissant and juice. However there was a small hot selection, croissants, bread, yogurt, muesli, fruit salad, whole fruit, cheese, meat and a selection of juices! The staff was extremely friendly and helpful. The room was up to date (multiple sockets including USB ones) and clean.
The Beau-Rivage Palace has built a reputation for being one of Europe's favourite hotels for its service and high quality.

Very friendly staff particularly Celestin. He made me feel at ease and was very helpful during the check-in process. Offered to take me on a tour of the hotel despite that I checked in well after midnight. He was kind and polite enough to check if I had settled well once I got to my room. I will certainly visit again
The Château d'Ouchy is a renovated medieval castle with an original donjon (keep) in a scenic location in Lausanne, directly on the shores of Lake Geneva.

Excellent staff, especially Madam Nora fron desk manager.
The charming, small, family-run Hotel du Port is situated close to the centre of Lausanne, next to the Ouchy metro station and the harbour and offers you cosy rooms and fine cuisine.

The location of this hotel, on supremely romantic lake Geneva (lac leman), is stunning. The road between the hotel (it is one of several hotels lined up opposite the port) and the lake is rather busy, though, even in November. But once you have crossed the road and walked along the lake shore, staring down at the perfectly limpid lake water and up at the French mountains rising dramatically above a line of mist, the traffic is forgotten.
Our room, booked as a "budget twin", was very comfortable. The beds were fine, as was the shower room, and there was plenty of storage space for our clothes (we stayed four nights).
The view from our room was non-existent (presumably why it was a "budget" room, as everything else about it was excellent). We looked out onto the backs of other buildings, but we didn't care.
The real appeal of the hotel, though, was in the restaurant. The food was very good, although unexceptional, and the traditional type we like best. We ate there every night, and loved the atmosphere, which was friendly and informal while maintaining high standards. At the weekend it felt like a big, happy party.
We (two 70-ish ladies) spent ages chatting to an older woman from Lyon, who said she visited quite often. We both said we hoped we could do the same, and meet again quite soon.
A cosy hotel in the center of Ouchy, i.e. on the shore of the lake in the middle of luxurious hotels. A very nice restaurant, a room with the view of the lake, good breakfast. I can definitely recommend it, two minutes from the metro station, a beach, great walsk along the lake, everything very easy.
The room was modern, with great decor, a comfortable bed and a walk-in shower, which is better for older people. The location was excellent, being close to the train station and the Grancy Metro, which we used to go down to Ouchy a number of times, as it was so easy. There was a supermarket and restaurants close by.
The breakfast room on the 9th floor had beautiful views, and the breakfast was excellent.
Not far from the Metro , so could travel down to Ouchy very easily. Places to eat and have a coffee quite close. Up hill from Riponne Place . The young
man on reception was extremely helpful . We got lost and he talked us up to hotel on the phone for which we were very grateful.
-Located next to Lake Geneva and hotel did provide the room with Lake view. It was a great view!
-Staffs are polite and helpful
-Room size is good
-Migros just located next to hotel
-Good restaurant is located nearby (La Riviera is highly recommended)
-Worth the money
-Only a short walk from Ouchy-Olympique Metro station
I will definitely come to stay here again :)
Well decorated, spacious, good shower, kitchen equipment and TV.
We were able to leave our cases in the shop underneath the studio (while the shop was open) and they took them up for us when the room was ready. This was very helpful.
Good communications with the hosts.
The property is well located in Lausanne. It is very close to a metro which is very handy for avoiding steep walks in the city (e.g. from the train station) and for accessing Ouchy.
The hotel is well located for walking to Old Town and Cathedral. Also able to walk to good restaurants.
The room is clean and comfortable. We love the view from our lakeview room.
Staff are efficient and polite. The front desk lady (I think her name is Mia) made a very good recommendation for a cheese fondue dinner in Ouchy.
My family enjoyed our stay very much.
Hotel is out of the city but very practical. We went by car, parked in the underground garage (discounted price) and used the free subway card to ride into the city. Subway station is underneath the parking (P+R Vennes), and in about 20' we were at Lausanne-Ouchy.
Entrance to the Aquarium just opposite the hotel reception.
Staff was friendly, rooms were modern and clean, breakfast had a fair variety of choices.
- Hotel part of the Sandoz Hotel Foundation that already guarantees excellent standards in Switzerland
- The location is fantastic facing the lake between the Beau Rivage Palace and the Château d’Ouchy sufficiently distant from the walk way along the lake to allow a peaceful resst
- Les Cinq Mondes amenities in the toilette
- The swimmingpool although small is enjoyable
- Indoor perking place
