It was very clean and neat. The bar area and lounge is pretty comfy as well. Location is good and you do get a view of the Eiger from the balcony.

We really loved staying at this traditional looking, but very modern hotel.
The room and bed were so comfortable and the views from the balcony fantastic.
Breakfast was a generous buffet in addition to a choice from a cooked menu. The waiting staff were friendly and helpful.
We were fortunate to have great weather during our visit and were able to enjoy an aperitif and evening meals on the sunny terrace. Again, we found the waiting staff very friendly and helpful.
There was a lovely little lounge with honesty bar as well as a manned bar by the restaurant.
The location is also fabulous - five minutes walk to the railway station and two minutes walk to the cable car. Both giving access to great hikes.
We are looking forward to returning!

- The staff was great! Made the most to make us feel like home (which is also the motto of the place, as we understood :) ), and gave us recommendations and guidance how to spend our time in the area
- The dinner at the hotel restaurant was great and very well priced for the location. the chef accommodated my dietary requirements (transformed the 4-course meal into a vegetarian one), which was super tasty and featured cuisine from that and nearing areas. Would recommend to book!

It was a lovely, old Hotel. The host family was very nice and helpful.
It was away from the busy part of Grindelwald, and only 10 minutes walk to the station where the gondolas to Männlichen and Kleine Scheidegg leave.
Perfect for my holiday!
- Great location: right next to Grindelwald Terminal, where you can get the train to Interlaken etc; and cable cars to Männlichen, Eiger Glacier, Jungfraujoch, etc. The walk to Grindelwald Town Centre takes ~15 minutes, although it IS a steep (but nice!) walk!
- Free breakfast!!
- Comfortable beds (no squeaking) in fairly spacious rooms. My partner and I stayed in a mixed dorm with 4 others. The room was full while we were there, but it never felt cramped.
The location. The property is 1 bus stop of 8 minutes walk from Grindelwald Terminal. This gets you to the Mannlichen Ski area. Another bus (every 30 minutes) gets you to the Main Town and a train to Kleine Schiedegg. Or you could walk to Grund and catch the same train. So ...very convenient if you are skiing.
The property is newly renovated and fully equipped. Generous sized bathrooms and comfortable bedrooms. Fully equipped kitchen and everything works perfectly. Very good.

- parking is available but in the evenings it’s difficult to find the place even if you have already paid for it.

Perfect location for both Grindelwald first cable car (reached by walk) and Männlichen cable car (reached by bus- only took us like 5 minutes). Bus stop few steps away from hotel.
Breakfast is super good. The view from the room is stunning.
The infity pool is so relaxing and beutiful.
