Very particular, secluded, peaceful location. This is not exactly a classic hotel, but it has everything needed for a frugal yet pleasant staying. It seemed mostly used by groups and associations that choose this place for conventions, spiritual gatherings, meditation and so on which means you will find mostly quiet and discrete guests. Surely not a party place. We loved the serenity and peace of the place, but it might not be the right place for everyone.

Such a wonderful location, the view over the lake to the Alps is stunning. The staff are very friendly and made us feel most welcome. The restaurant is fabulous, such interesting choices on the menu. Our room was very comfortable with a view. I highly recommend Auberge de Rivaz.
