Wonderful place to see the area and get the lay of the land!
Wonderful place to see the area and get the lay of the land! This was our first excursion in Interlaken, and I got my friends absolutely pumped as we looked at areas in the distance we would explore in the coming days. You can take a quick trip up and just enjoy the sights and restaurant, or you can explore the trails that go all along the area. There is a specific hike that is not for the faint of heart, but definitely qualifies for core memory status, and that is the Hardergrat. If you have time to plan, I’d actually start from Brienzer-Rothorn and work your way back to end at Harder Kulm, thus named Brienzergrat. It’s much easier on the knees! You essentially hike the length of Lake Brienz along the unequivocally voted Most Iconic Ridge Hike of Europe! Cheers ❤️

If you want one of the EASIEST places to visit from...
If you want one of the EASIEST places to visit from Interlaken, this is the place. It has AMAZING VIEWS of 2 different lakes and 3 small villages with mountains all around. I was in AWE and I have been to Junfraujoch, Titlis, Rigi and Gornergrat. Really loved how easy it was to just take funicular right from town. It's right behind the Beau Rivage Hotel. That hotel was also kind enough to hold our luggage while we went up the mountain....unbelievable service...with no charge (we just tipped). I went there TWICE during an overnight stay....just could not get over the views.

Breakfast is so nice specially outdoor tables.
Within walking distance to both train stations although Interlaken west is slightly closer. Close to the Harder Kulm and shops. Hotel was easy to find from both train stations.
Very new apartment close to Interlaken west station, right at the foot hills & walkable to the funicular station to Harder Kulm. Ms.Bettina was waiting for us at the front door at our agreed arrival time, walked us through the apartment & even suggested the evening trip to Harder Kulm. Super smooth check out on time & hassle free! Thank you Ms.Bettina.
Typical studio apartment overlooking lake Aare. Location and views are fantastic, Interlaken OST is a short walk from the property. Short walk to Harder Kulm attraction, grocery, dining and shopping. Kitchen with basic cutlery and oven was very handy. Interlaken guest cards were provided upon request.

One of the most beautiful and relaxing place I've ever stayed. Friendly people at the reception, room comfy, clean, spacious and quiet, very nice view to the Harder Kulm from the balcony. It brings a warm peace of mind.
Location is great about 15min of walking from the Interlaken Ost train station or take the bus from outside the hotel.
I hope to travel again and spend more time around.
The room had everything that is required for staying in an apartment. right from utensils till heater. We expected a decent room, but what we got was a fully furnished apartment. View from the room was excellent. It's not close to the Interlaken OST station, but not far as well. You can find restaurants nearby. Most importantly, it's walkable distance from Harder Kulm. A serene river flows just besides the hotel and it's a calm, soothing experience.
