Location was perfect for taking the cable car to Oeschinensee and also for a short (and stunning) walk into town. Dinner was delicious and the staff were so accommodating and allowed us to sit on the patio so my kiddo could play on the playground.

Such a beautiful hotel in a beautiful town! We really had a great stay in Kendersteg, and enjoyed relaxing in our room with the windows open to the balcony, listening to the river and the church bells and enjoying fresh Swiss air! Dinner at the restaurant was very good and we're still dreaming of the breakfast that was offered and included in our stay each morning! Hope to be back soon!
The Blümlisalp is a popular family-run hotel in a beautiful setting at the foothills of the Blümlisalp mountain in Kandersteg, right by the bus stop.

Great location in Kandersteg! Very close to Blausee (10 min with the bus) and Oeschiensee Lake (10 min walk to the cable cars).
I would highly recommend paying a little extra for a room with the mountain view! It was breathtaking.
The hotel also offers discount tickets to some attractions, cable cars and free public transport in the area. The bus stops right in front of the hotel.
Unfortunately, I didn't have the pleasure to try the breakfast, so I can't give an opinion on that, but I would definitely stay here again if I ever visit Kandersteg again.
