It was very clean and neat. The bar area and lounge is pretty comfy as well. Location is good and you do get a view of the Eiger from the balcony.

We really loved staying at this traditional looking, but very modern hotel.
The room and bed were so comfortable and the views from the balcony fantastic.
Breakfast was a generous buffet in addition to a choice from a cooked menu. The waiting staff were friendly and helpful.
We were fortunate to have great weather during our visit and were able to enjoy an aperitif and evening meals on the sunny terrace. Again, we found the waiting staff very friendly and helpful.
There was a lovely little lounge with honesty bar as well as a manned bar by the restaurant.
The location is also fabulous - five minutes walk to the railway station and two minutes walk to the cable car. Both giving access to great hikes.
We are looking forward to returning!

- The staff was great! Made the most to make us feel like home (which is also the motto of the place, as we understood :) ), and gave us recommendations and guidance how to spend our time in the area
- The dinner at the hotel restaurant was great and very well priced for the location. the chef accommodated my dietary requirements (transformed the 4-course meal into a vegetarian one), which was super tasty and featured cuisine from that and nearing areas. Would recommend to book!

Really good place with nice views. Bus in front of the hotel and they give us a card for free bus rides to Grindelwald and other discounts of the region, like the Firstbahn. The room was very big, with two floors that have a sofa and a other bed in the superior floor. Nice staff.
Spacious with a great view in a very convenient and quiet location. Lovely to hear the noise of the river down below. Close to a choice of bus stops and the town centre. Very convenient for the Firstbahn, Pfingstegg and the Glacier Canyon. A large living room and bedroom with a separate kitchen was great.

You can meet a fantastic view and a reasonably priced house. Above all, the view outside the floor door was so fantastic, and although I couldn't meet the landlord in person, she responded kindly and quickly. And with everything you need for travel, you can feel the comfort in your home in Switzerland. The location is also perfect, so it's located right under the Firstbahn, and the parking space is also perfect. Honestly, it's such a perfect house that I only want to know and I don't want to let anyone else know
Staff were very welcoming & accommodating; great sauna I practically had to myself. Located between Firstbahn & Grindelwald Terminal with v good bus service linking both.
We notify the hotel that we are only able to check in after 8pm. They prepared and envelope with our name with the keys and guest cards. The staff even stayed back to ensure that we receive the check in instructions. The hotel is right beside the Grindelwald Firstbahn cable lift which brings one up to Grindelwald First. About 10 minutes walk from Grindelwald Train station. The view outside the hotel was great.
The staff absolutely make this place exceptional! The hotel facilities are also fantastic, and the hotel is in a great location (across from the Firstbahn, with the bus stop directly across from the hotel). Really enjoyed the spa facilities and services, and would highly recommend this hotel if travelling with pets.
Very spacious and roomy apartment. Large space for 2 persons. Amazing view from balcony. Well stocked kitchen. Just next to the Firstbahn for easy access. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here!
