A very good hotel conveniently located a short walk from Plains of Abraham and the old town. Lots of bars and restaurants immediately outside the hotel.
Check in was friendly and efficient. Room very comfortable although air conditioning system is a bit dated and noisy.
The rooftop restaurant is well worth visiting for excellent views and is sensibly priced.
Overall, would recommend this hotel for a stay.
The location of the hotel is perfect! Very walkable. The view of the Plains of Abraham was beautiful from our room! The staff was so friendly and helpful! We ate at both restaurants on property and the food was great, the staff so kind, and views wonderful.
the hotel is in a fantastic location, close to all of old quebec and all of the restaurants. There was parking available and it was easy to get to and to use. I loved that we cold walk out the door and onto the Plains of Abraham. It is an old hotel, with what I would call European character
The room was reasonably spacious and the beds were comfortable. The concierge was very helpful arranging for tours.
The hotel is located in a very convenient spot (close to the Plains of Abraham and fort area) and surrounded by historic buildings. It was off to the side of a busy road with a huge square in front which made it a quiet retreat.
The room was very clean, and we loved the shower with the hand held shower nozzle. Also even if we had to pay for breakfast the meal was excellent. Also it was very close to the Citadel, Plains of Abraham, and Montmorency Falls, and Upper Quebec City which was great.
Nice hotel with good sized rooms, two kitchen areas, not far from the historic old town near the Plains of Abraham. Easy to find with 3 parking places if needed although coming via train makes it easier. Good value for money.
The staff was very friendly, the check-in was super smooth, the room was clean and had all basic facilities. The location of this hotel is superb - just a short walk to the Fairmont hotel, Plains of Abraham and all the main attractions of old town Quebec. The hotel faces a beautiful, serene park which is amazing.
Eric and Anny have thought of everything you might need. Rooms, bathroom, and kitchen well equipped. Washer and dryer were very convenient. Spaces tastefully decorated and comfortable. Beautiful garden available to guests. Bagels, fruit, homemade pastries, coffee, etc., available for breakfast. Easy access to shops, restaurants, art museum, Plains of Abraham, and bus (or walk) to old Quebec. Montcalm is a lovely part of town.
