The hotel was nice and clean, staff was friendly. The beds and pillows were so comfy, even the towels felt very soft. The rooms look old but it's kept very well. The breakfast was also decent! Surprised at the amount of options they provided for breakfast.

The location was perfect for our stay and in walking distance to the Performing Arts Centre. Front desk staff were very polite and welcoming. I confess that I lacked somewhat in my attention to detail as I thought check in was 3pm. We arrived 2:45 and the room wasn't ready. No fault of theirs and I truly apologize. That being said they were fantastic given that this senior got her time wrong. IT was lovely being on the water.

I also noticed that there was absolutely no smell to the room or linens....just clean.
Breakfast was very satisfying with good choices and varied daily. Real silverware! All staff were very polite and friendly and provided good tips for exploring the area. The room was clean, quiet and comfortable; a good place to hang out. Staff loaned us an umbrella for a walk in the light rain. Location is good - we walked from the hotel around Little Lake and back. Stopped at the Canadian Canoe Museum and the Art Gallery along the way.
