We were only supposed to stay one night in Banff but because of a mistake on our part we had to stay another night, I wasn’t willing to book another night at the Banff Springs hotel as it was over priced so I chose the Peaks. We were pretty rattled when we check in but Colin at reception was amazing, the hotel was awesome and very reasonably priced for Banff. If you’re going to Banff ditch the overpriced bigger hotels and stay here! Highly recommended. And a big shout out to kiwi Colin, he saved our bacon!

perfect location on Banff Ave, easy walk to shops and restaurants, clean, modern facilities, great shower. Staff were happy to store our luggage while we waited for check in. Lovely restaurant with great happy hour.

The location was brilliant, easy walk to Banff Town and also bus stops near by to go to the Banff Gondola.
Room was a good size and staff were helpful and friendly.
Great location. Lovely clean good size room. Comfortable bed. Great rain shower head in the walk in shower.
Staff super friendly and helpful to book and print tickets for the Banff gondola and Park Pass. No breakfast onsite but plenty of options in the town.
Nesters supermarket nearby was perfect for picking up a sandwich/drinks to take on our drive on the Icefield Parkway the next day.
Be aware Moraine Lake is only accessible by shuttle from 2023, no private vehicles. Book a shuttle well ahead!
We did lots of hiking, walking Lake Louise, Tunnel Mountain, Bow River, Sulphur Mountain, Banff Gondola.
We ate at Old Spaghetti house, Greek restaurant, Irish Pub, Sky Bristo all dinners
Breakfast at Toololous, El Toro.
Spacious room with small kitchen area that included everything we needed.
Nice touches like locally made toiletries.
We used the bus pass to go into town as well as Banff gondola and out to Lake Minnewanka.
Bonus was seeing two elk outside our room one morning.
