Rooms are big, clean and comfortable. Rooms have a fridge and coffee machine which is great for keeping your drinks cool and having a coffee early on a morning before tours. The hotel has a nice pool, and a nice restaurant attached. It is in a quiet area close to a couple of supermarkets.

The room was well-equipped with a small fridge, microwave, kettle, fans, TV, WI-FI and A/C. The beds were very comfortable with good support and a mattress topper.
It was a short walk over the bridge into town so it’s very conveniently located with a small supermarket just opposite, a local takeaway restaurant and a laundromat downstairs. Mike and staff were friendly, helpful and very responsive to any queries or requests for advice. I would definitely stay at Maxroomz again, and I would highly recommend it, especially as it’s more affordable and more well-equipped than most similar properties.

Convenient location for driving access to area. Nice sized room.
We had an awesome stay at the lodge! Everyone is super friendly and so helpful! They can organize and book many tours for you or just recommend things to do. The room we had was very clean and the food at the restaurant is great! The pool was refreshing! The lodge is directly next to the Mayan ruins Cahal Pech, which is definitely worth visiting! Highly recommended!!! You can see and feel that the lodge is maintained and led with love!
Nice hotel, very quiet, clean room, very good restaurant with a view over the town! Cahal Pech Maya ruins are just next door, so very convenient to visit. The hotel had recently added a pool and is doing some landscaping on their territory, so it should look cosier and more lush in the near future. Would recommend and consider staying again.
Great location at the top of the hill and right beside Cahal Pech. The restaurant food was amazing. The pool was great. The staff were very helpful and friendly. They filled up our water bottles when we left and provided us transport down the hill on a very hot day, which was very appreciated.
Location is great. Close to bus station and 3 minute walk from Cahal Pech.
Staff did a great job planning events and brining people together. Sunday dinna was great!
Bathrooms were big and spacious, I never had to wait to use a shower.
Breakfast included is a nice feature.
They will organize anything and everything for you.
Jess is amazing and I had so much fun talking to her. Javi was an amazing tour guide! (And the rum punch was delicious)
Hostel is super close to a really great restaurant and place to get drinks!
The landlord was friendly and provided us with valuable local information related to obtaining cheap taxi rides to Benque or the border with Guatemala, it saved us atleast an hour.
The room is exactly as the photos provided on the site. It was clean and tidy. Wifi reception was excellent. There are quite a few eateries and pubs around withing 300-500 meters. Cahal Pech Archeological Site is around 1km from this location.
Sufficient clothes hangars provided.
The staff were incredible and went out of their way to help us. We had lunch at their restaurant in the building and it was great!
The bed was comfy and we found the room to be quiet. Very clean. Warm shower.
Location couldn't be better and was within walking distance of restaurants, market, bus station, Iguana Conservation center, and Cahal Pech.
Breakfast was a bonus!
I have zero complaints. Would stay here again
Excellent location near Cahal Pech, and close enough to walk into town. The hostel has 2 nice common areas, one is outdoors, the other is indoors with a nice view. I recommend staying here!
The staff was very friendly, especially the receptionist Connie. The owner would ask if everything was alright every time you saw him. The location was good, just a short walk uphill from town where there is a lovely breeze. It is also in close proximity to Cahal Pech, restaurants, the market and the river. The kichenette was a bonus. One could cook all of their meals there.
