This was my favorite place of the 3 that we stayed in, in Maun. It is right downtown, but does not get any noise from the street. It is an easy walk to shops etc. Breakfast is included , which is a nice touch. Both breakfast and dinner are good, as is the outside bar. I liked that I could use the bathroom without waking my friend. This wasn't always the case in other places. The staff here, as everywhere, are wonderful.
We were here at the start and end of our trip to the Okavango Delta and Victoria Falls. We would have stayed all 3 of the latter nights , but only one night was available.

On the outskirts of Maun, Cresta Maun (not to be confused with Cresta Riley) is a good option if you have a car/van or don't mind using taxis to get around and into the city. A mid-range, pleasant hotel with modern facilities, it has a nice pool, bar and dining area, dine in breakfast buffet and decent rooms. We had one stay in a suite, which was large, especially the bathroom area. The second stay was in a second smaller standard room, which looked as if it had been refurbished. Both were fine. The thing that distinguishes the hotel is it's friendly staff. Although our stay wasn't perfect, the staff always attempted to help us and made every effort to look after us. We felt very lucky to stay there.

Nice and comfortable stay. Just make sure you have the repellent diffuser (they supply it) in the room for the night, against mosquitoes. We had a delicious dinner at the place, they prepared us a table in the garden, it was very nice and well cooked! Also, the linens were extremely clean, which I appreciated. The room had air con.
