Amazing, after a more recent choice to go a la carte they went back to their stunning buffer breakfast. I was quite annoyed by the chance in my previous stay so they upgraded me to a stunning room and got me fruit and a lovely card; they know how to do luxury; it is my favorite hotel in Rio and one of my favorite in the world; it is an oasis a resort in the heart of Rio. Sugarloaf mountain is must see in Rio de Janeiro. With cable car you can rich first level where is nice panoramic view on the lagoon and all around. Next stop is in the sky. 700 m on the top. 360 degrees panoramic view. Breathtaking views of Rio de Janeiro. From Copacabana to statue of Christ, than all beauty of the lagoon and to the ocean infinity. In one clear sunny day that is which everybody visited Rio must do.

Excellent location with friendly staff, especially at the restaurants. Great value for money and ideally located for Copacabana beach and access to Sugarloaf mountain.
This is a great location as a base for exploring Rio. The neighborhood is considered very safe, and you can easily walk to and from the Sugarloaf Mountain, even after dark. There are a few restaurants in the neighborhood, which are also easily accessible by foot.
Andreas and his staff are extremely accommodating and friendly. A very good breakfast is served on the rooftop, or in an adjacent room with a marvellous view of Botafogo Bay, Cristo Redentor and the central parts of the city.
Our room was spacious and clean.
The location was perfect, a really relaxed and friendly neighbourhood with wonderful views of the sunset over the harbour. It was a great location for exploring the beaches, sugarloaf mountain and Christ Redeemer. The staff and owner were really friendly and helpful. I had a free upgrade to suite which was amazing and breakfast was delicious.
So well designed and authentic, staff are incredibly friendly and welcoming. Breakfast was amazing and there’s an incredible view of sugarloaf mountain from the outdoor garden.

The hotel is conveniently located a couple minutes away from Santos Dumont airport, public transport options and Centro landmarks. I happened to have a room with an incredible view of Sugarloaf mountain which was beautiful to look out onto on the private patio.
Great location - most sights worth seeing weren't too far from the hotel (e.g. Sugarloaf Mountain was 15 minutes by Uber). Plus, the breakfast was among the best I've had in South America, staff were accommodating and a great beach is just a couple of streets away.
