Teite, Bruno and Anthony were super friendly, excellent hosts and lovely people in general. They allowed late check out and did an amazing suco de limão on our last day. Accommodation was a great value for money. Organised beach trips buggies will pick up and drop off at the property. Otherwise it’s taxi or 5 mins walk to airport bus stop. We rented mountain bikes for the duration of our stay but that was hard work at times in the equatorial sun.

Maria and Lili were phenomenal. They were so sweet and accommodating, and went out of the way to make you feel at home or to help you in any way. If I could give the staff more than 5 stars I would. Breakfast was amazing and all homemade- they accommodated us for our earlier excursions. Walking distance from one of the best spots to watch the sunset and close to the beach. Rooms were cozy, clean and spacious. We had a lovely stay and would 100% recommend!

The flat is a ground floor apartment with a kitchen and twin bedroom with a patio attached. From the patio there is an excellent view of a large garden in the middle of the natural environment of the Island. The center is a 10 minutes taxi or bus ride away, but beautiful beaches are within walking distance. We loved the peace and quiet of the place. The owners are very friendly and do all they can to make one feel comfortable, beyond what can reasonably expected. The kitchen is very well kitted out and the the place was spotlessly clean.

The staff were amazing and so incredibly accommodating. We did not speak any Portuguese and they had limited English, but with the help of Google Translate, we were able to communicate without too much issue. Beds were super comfy, room was very clean. The fresh flowers were a very nice touch. Quiet area out of the way of the hustle and bustle, which is what we were looking for. It just meant having to take the bus or taxi in and out of town because there's also no grocery store nearby. Breakfast is in a small dining area with only four tables, but there is plenty of food and the kitchen staff are so kind and accommodating. You can poke your head in the window and ask for scrambled eggs or tapioca. I recommend the tapioca with banana. We originally booked this pousada for only two nights and were moving to another pousada on the north side so we could experience both sides of the island, but due to an unexpected incident at the new pousada which led us being put up in someone's share house, I contacted Pousada Sueste out of desperation. Luckily they had space! So we waited in the rain for a taxi, but then Hinata (one of the front desk ladies) arrived in her Ute! What a surprise we were not expecting. We really were speechless. From start to end, we have been taken care of to the 9s. I really don't know, what to say. I would 110% stay here the next time we're back.

How can people complain about this Little slice of Paradise? Super nice and helpdul hosts, a big breakfast buffet with Fruits, Juice, cake, breadrolls, saussages and more. Comfy rooms with a Fridge, clean private bathrooms, a beaufiful ourside area with Hammocks. One of the best Acai Restaurants a few Meters from the Hostel. And best of all, Close to one of the best beaches! You can go there by public bus from the Airport/ to the City
