We loved everything!!! The facility was immaculate from the cleaning to the decor. Very well thought out. The Front Desk team was amazing. It can be tricky to pick a "pousada" on Noronha. Some are on the outskirts of the island, some are very "bare" or small. This one is relatively new and the fact that the grounds are still under construction (May 2022) can be a bit scary. But the rooms are of a decent size (there are 4), very quiet, the bed is very comfortable and the AC works well. Breakfast is served early (7-9) which lets you enjoy the island. It is pretty simple but the coffee is absolutely delicious. The best part of Nakau is its view from the grounds (see photo), one of the best on the island while still close to the town center. For dinner, you can go to Xica, close and decent, Cacimba is the fancy one. For bars, definitely try Cachorro if you like lively places with music. Thinking about it, the best part of Nakau is the family that owns it, they invited me for feijoada, churrasco and a good chat that made my experience of this paradise of an island that much better.
