Very large impressive site situated sprawling across the hillside, limited facilities inside one drinks machine so take plenty to drink as its hot and dry and a lot of walking to get upto the chapel on the top. Worth it for the amazing murals covering the walls and ceiling. I couldn't walk around the rest of the site too much for me and apart form the chapel I'd probably have been just as well to take photos from the bottom.

Very clean and beautiful decorated 2 bedroom apartment. We were on the second floor of the house amazing view of the city and walking distance from the city center , restaurants and Tsarevets Fortress.
Solid 3 star hotel, close to Tsarevets Fortress. Private parking available, yet at a surcharge. The kind bed + sofa bed room was changed to triple room with 2 twins pushed together, that actually better for us.
Modern and very comfortable apartment. Very nice and helpful hosts who met us outside and helped to park in the hotel's private parking, which is a great advantage.

The terrace is definitely a perfect place to watch light show at Tsarevets Fortress (the show is at 21:40-22:00). I would happy to visit this hotel if I travel to Veliko Tarnovo in the future!
This is a boutique hotel, very quirky and high-design decorated …and you will definitely love it!!!
It is practically where you would dream to stay to explore the area, very close to the Tsarevets fortress (5 min walk) and to the city centre (10 min).
The hotel has a fabulous view of the fortress and the SPA was exactly what you you need after the town and attractions strolling.
