The overall welcome was spot on. The patron was knowledgeable and welcoming sharing with us aspects of the house, locality and wider area. The room was just what was needed for us and was well provisioned. The breakfasts were the best with a huge choice of continental breakfast items. The host was attentive and provided the little extras such as towels for the Spa. It was a great place to stay for a few days.

A beautiful little hotel in a village ideally located near Spa (circuit and wellness centre) and Malmedy. Our hostess Katrin was lovely and makes your stay very homely and welcoming. The rooms are nicely decorated and kept beautifully clean. The room keycard also opens the front door of the hotel when the front desk is closed so you can come and go as you please. Katrin’s brother runs the restaurant next door where you can eat delicious meals or just sit for a drink in front of the fire. He brews his own Belgian beer on site (also very good! Gift boxes are available at the hotel reception). Plenty of parking spaces round up an excellent stay. We will definitely be back soon!! Highly recommended

Beautiful breakfast, it went beyond our expectations. The bouffet was rich with ingredients, freshly baked bread, homemade jam, fresh croissant, fresh juice. Couldn't ask for more regarding breakfast. The place is clean and tranquil. The room and beds are brand new and comfortable. We had our own little terrace, with the view on the greens and can see a small family of deer sitting closeby.

Super friendly and responsive host. We could drop our bags at the property before check-in time which was really very helpful. The apartment has a very nice street view, super quiet area and 10 min walk to the city - center and the Thermes de Spa. Very well equipped apartment, clean and comfortable. The kitchenette is a nice bonus, you can warm up or even cook. Shower very clean and comfy too. Large double bed. All in all a very nice and positive experience, good value for money.
The hotel is close to the Thermes de Spa and very close to the restaurants. Car parking is free, though one has to park away from the main street (which is paid for)
The apartment is very beautiful, cosy, clean and well equipped. It’s ten minute walk from the train station and right in the centre of town, also 20 minute walk from the Thermes de Spa. The host was extremely friendly and communicative.
The reception staff was very helpful and nice! She heard we were going to the Thermes de Spa (the spa center in town) and immediately offered us tickets to the funicular, free towels and bath robes. She also offered us directions and a great recommendation for dinner. What a treat!
The room (overlooking the garden) was very spacious and felt luxurious. The breakfast was very decent and balanced. Overall an amazing experience staying at this hotel!
The apartment was really great and had plenty of space and amenities. Is very short walk to the city center, with a lot of shops and restaurants. Also short walk to the funicular, to the Thermes de Spa - which was a wonderful way to spend an afternoon.
Beautiful apartment in the heart of Spa, renovated recently, decorated with taste, very completely equipped kitchen, nothing was missing. The heating system was very efficient, which is highly important in the heart of winter. The place is situated to a walking distance to shops and restaurants. The famous Thermes de Spa and the train station are also at a walking distance; excellent bakery just down the road.
The owner was very nice on the phone and also accepted an early check- in. We highly recommend this place!
The apartment was spacious and the beds were extremely comfortable. Linen and bath towels were clean and white, the way it should be. Located near to Thermes de Spa. The hosts are responsive.
Great location and very friendly & helpful hosts - even if we didn´t have the change to meet each other in person. The apartment itself is really pretty (although you must like the colour red) and the location works wonderfully. I visited the Thermes de Spa for two days and was very happy to return to this place in both evenings. Would have stayed longer and will reserve La Duchesse again, if the occasion rises.
