Sí, el Partenó és tan imponent que deixa tothom meravellat, però l'arquitectura de l'Erectèon, tot i ser més subtil (i per què no dir-ho, femenina), et deixarà sense paraules. L'Erectèon està situat a la zona més sagrada de l'acròpolis i té un disseny més aviat delicat i elegant, que personalitzen a la perfecció les cariàtides. Aquestes sis estàtues fan de columnes i ajuden a sostenir la teulada de la porxada, però són un dels més bells records de la cultura i la religió de l'antiga Grècia.
