Everything about it was on point and surpassed our expectations
The ancient ruins of "Little Cusco" span the mountainside high above the Sacred Valley. The site is well preserved, featuring a variety of impressive stone buildings, some of them two-or-more stories high. Believed to be houses and defensive structures, there's also a large "Kalanka" – a communal hall where people socialized together. Even more interesting, the site is supplied with water by the same 2,600-foot-long irrigation channel that the Incas built centuries ago.
