A warm welcome, friendly chatty staff, a good breakfast selection all make this a great place to stay. Use of the free hotel bikes is a nice bonus and we used them to explore Bruges extensively.

The hotel was situated in a great location, just a few minutes walk from the square and an easy walking distance from most attractions. It's very quiet, and through the night, I didn't hear a thing.
The bed was very comfortable, and the room had everything we needed. There was a mini fridge in the room with drinks you could help yourself to. Most of them were 3 euros, but you need a bottle opener. We never had one in the room, but when asked, we had one supplied straight away. So, no complaints there. The bathroom is fairly small, in the standard double, but it has everything you need.
All the staff were really friendly and helpful and nothing was too much trouble.
The breakfast room was very pretty and cosy. Breakfast was continental with a couple of hot selections such as scrambled egg, bacon, hash browns, and pancakes. We couldn't fault it.
If we were to visit Bruges again, we wouldn't hesitate to stay in this hotel again. Bruges is a lovely place

We were upgraded to a beautiful historical room, with a chandelier and high ceilings. Perfect, as our previous accommodation had cancelled that day, during our 10 hour journey from the Swiss Alps. Really comfortable bed and just a few minutes walk from centre of town.
