The whole place is very nice, rooms are spacious and clean, the only thing is because Adelaide street it’s got heavy foot traffic the entrance of the tower can get a bit dirty, if only alócate a hour of cleaning the front door and front street (why not), it will make the place perfect, overall we stay for 7 nights and it was fantastic, we will be back….

FAQs about hotels in Brisbane

Sun-Drenched and Leafy

At the meeting point of Australia’s Sunshine Coast and Gold Coast, laidback Brisbane is spread around the meandering river running through it. The river’s arty South Bank is home to Australia’s largest modern art gallery, tranquil gardens and an artificial beach. Just opposite is the towering skyline of Brisbane's CBD, where many hotels in Brisbane city centre are located.

Nearby are the botanic gardens and Queen Street Mall, the most popular Brisbane shopping spot. More shopping centres are found all over the city, and the out-of-town malls include one in the Indooroopilly suburb by the foothills of Mount Coot-tha.

This green hill offers fabulous city views and has a planetarium, nature reserve and yet more botanic gardens. In Lone Pine Koala Sanctuary to the south you can hug one of the loveable animals, while Australia Zoo – Steve Irwin’s legacy – is a good day trip.

Brisbane is a very leafy city and one of its parks – Wickham Park – contains the Old Windmill, Brisbane’s oldest building. To the north-east, the Fortitude Valley suburb is known for its vibrant music scene and Chinatown. Across the river in Woolloongabba is The Gabba or Brisbane Cricket Ground, and nearby is the bohemian West End district.

As well as central accommodation, Booking.com also offers hotels near Brisbane Airport in a north-eastern coastal suburb.

I was en route to Dickey Beach for Christmas with family and catching up with an old family friend while in Brisbane. The second visit 27-28.12 was after the Dickey Beach visit. I had to stay a 2nd night because my friend's house was not available until 29.12. I had lived in Brisbane for a no of years so not a tourist visit

It was very hot (around 38C) when we arrived on Thursday which made uncomfortable but weather turned back well in the next 2 days. Enjoyed a lot on Citycat boat ride which we did everyday. Much cheaper than any of the hotels or apartments but so much better. Big living space, good kitchen, nice bathroom, great balcony and very comfortable bed. Wifi was excellent, staff friendly and terrific location (with the city a short walk away and right on the walking bridge to get across to Southbank. I stayed in building 1 which had direct access to Manning St. The apartments are within walking distance to the Brisbane CBD, Southbank, QPAC, supermarkets and great restaurants.
