Motel is a street off the M1 and behind a pub which they let you know on a print out they give is noisy on a Friday and Saturday night.
Lady in Reception was lovely and very friendly and check was easy and organised.
We were in room 124 which is probably the furthest away from highway but you could still hear the light sound of the semis roaring down the highway, though not all that bad.
Room is basic and no frills but not complaining for $90 a night and by morning the car park was full. As long as bed was comfy with clean sheets (it was) and a reasonable bathroom, fine.
There is a small fridge, AC and tv. There is a kettle with tea, coffee and small tetra box of milk. Over the bed is another bunk so it’s a room for 3.
For an overnight stay and the price I can’t complain but boy it is definitely only one star.
PS if you want a good meal try the Coast Hotel on the highway in front of motel.
