Rod Laver Arena
Named in honor of the nation’s greatest tennis star, this purpose-built venue is the jewel in the crown of Melbourne’s National Tennis Centre. A state-of-the-art retractable roof means games can play on through torrential rain or searing summer heat. Even though it’s best known as the home of the Australian Open, the Rod Laver Arena also hosts basketball, wrestling, and rock concerts.

Good venue, plenty of toilets although they get so very busy. Taking my wife to see @tonesandi a fantastic show 👌 outside security staff are very rude, they do not understand the simple act of respect.

Great place to see concerts, very modern and open spaces.
Great place to see concerts, very modern and open spaces. Food drinks are a little bit on the pricey side but at least it was fresh and hot.
Getting a taxi or similar ride trip after a concert you should expect to wait about 20 mins.

Excellent location for an event at Rod Laver arena and activities in the CBD. I was pleasantly surprised to find a clothes steamer in the room (for someone who doesn't iron and travels with their own). Breakfast was excellent. Pool was a treat for the 4yo.
Spacious room with oven, cooktop, washer & dryer. Separate bedroom and balcony at front . Quiet street and quiet room. Great undercover secure parking. Easy walk to MCG, AAMI Stadium & Rod Laver arena. Good pubs, restaurants & coffee shops nearby as well as Coles. Very close to Epworth Hospital as well
Perfect location for the theatre, China Town for delicious food. Train or tram ride to MCG, Rod Laver Arena. Walking distance to city Mall. Wine bar for pre theatre drinks.
