This is a beautifully refurbished 70s-style hotel with a lot of personality. It's got great curved wall architecture with little balconies overlooking the harbour, the pool or the city.
Located in Darwin city centre, just 250 metres from the Esplanade, Hilton Darwin features a restaurant, bar and outdoor swimming pool. Many rooms have views of Darwin Harbour.

The location was great ,the pool was great. Did request a room on a higher floor as last time we looked out onto a nearby car park and the room was dark and dingy Worthwhile requesting !

Fabulous!
Fabulous!
Visited this on the Saturday morning of one of my trips and is well worth the visit.
Is only on a Saturday so a bit restrictive but again if you plan your trip well and have a least a week in Darwin it's good to see.
Has lots of stalls (couldn't tell you how many but it would be between 50 and 100) so you need plenty of time to see it.
Can be accessed via a bus service from the City but I would recommend taking a vehicle so that you can offload your purchases periodically!
Unfortunately on my latest visit I didn't get time but will go back when I can.
Was very crowded when I saw it but it was peak season.

great eclectic market, a genuine territory experience, Mays dumplings are to die for, vegetarian options abound at these markets, try some of the weird and wonderful sweets, sticky rice or pandan jelly cake is a kids fave...Marys laksa is iconic and she is a darwin legend, po pia with sauce are another fave,(tiny spring rolls with a sticky sauce), great gifts, not your typical souveneir stuff, some really nice artisan items, just a really funky cool vibey spot.Enjoy!!
