We really liked the hotel and its great location. However, our room was advertised as having a city view, but instead, we just looked directly into the residential apartments across the street. It was disappointing not to have a view of the Sydney skyline.
The hotel is perfectly located a few minutes walk from North Sydney Station so it's really quick to get into the City Centre - get an Opal card from any Convenience Store to pay for the rides (the train goes across the Harbour Bridge and gives a good view of the city as you approach). The room was a very good size and comfortable with a well equipped kitchen. There is a full size Coles Supermarket literally round the corner and several good Pubs/Hotels nearbly.
Heartily recommended.
Excellent location, near North Sydney station. Short bus ride or within walking distance of 10 minutes or so. Small IGA next door, breakfast cafe at street side. Small Woolies down the street. Pub close by.
