Beautiful resort and grounds. Staff very polite and helpful. Excellent location within a quick walk to the main street and Four Mile beach. Rooms were lovely and looked out over the pool. Studio room had kitchenette. Laundry facilities straight outside room were very handy. Bottle of champagne on arrival. Massage at the day spa was amazing. No kids.

Port Douglas is totally a tourist town. Accommodation is over-priced in my opinion compared to other stays holidaying in Aust. Needed a rental as too hot to walk far. Not really suitable for older visitors. We are in that category. Enjoyed 3 good restaurants.

Always a great stay in PD.
Always a great stay in PD. We prefer to stay out of town along the beautiful 4 mile beach but super easy to get in via foot on the waterfront or the numerous shuttle buses that work through to all hours of the morning.

Port Douglas is a quirky mixture of down-to-earth eating and drinking establishments alongside sophisticated and sometimes quite expensive restaurants. Shops are of a type normally found in resort townships catering for the budget traveller as well as others. A vibrant night-life but always feels safe for the older traveller.

Fantastic place to visit- locals very friendly and lots to see and do - but you can also just relax and wind down here. Restaurants were in abundance but you have to book to ensure a table. Lots of tourists and plenty of shops etc to make your stay here comfortable. Lots of boat tours available and plenty of local attractions to occupy your time here.

Port Douglas has a lovely feel to it - it has an abundance of independent cafes, restaurants and boutique shops. The beach is long and sandy and there are some stunning views from Flagstaff Hill. We were only there for two nights and wish we had stayed a little longer.
Pleasant comfortable room with good TV and WiFi. Great pool, which for a change from most Queensland hotel pools in winter was warm. There are good laundry facilities. The position is excellent being within easy walking distance from the main street of Port Douglas and Four Mile Beach and the boating wharf.
I booked a small room (studio apartment). My mistake but the manager was very helpful and when a larger apartment became available we were able to move into it.
The apartments are on Port Douglas' main street. It was easy for us to access all we wanted on foot. Our kind of place.
What an amazing property. Great value for money for a family within a close proximity to Port Douglas and many of the amazing attractions of Far North Queensland. The pool was a huge hit for the children and the house was comfortable, spacious and well kept. We loved it!
This hotel was great value for money especially for Port Douglas. Super clean and plenty of room. For us the location was excellent as we had a wedding only 400m away.
