Best location in port Douglas. Amazing friendly staff. View was sensational. Included breakfast was very generous with a good selection and starter fruit plate. Hotel guests were the priority in the cafe so we always got a table. Room lovely and clean. Would highly recommend

So clean, comfortable and well appointed. Beds comfortable, lovely comfortable furniture. Air con was on when we arrived, a nice touch. The pool area with the camp kitchen was really good so well stocked, nice table settings, fridge, stove, all utensils and oil etc for the bbq. Obviously the family that owns this facility are well travelled and really knows what you need when you are away from home. Best Motel we’ve ever stayed at.

Thanks Mel for opening downstairs 2nd bathroom for us as we stayed 9 nights.
Well equipped apartment with fans & aircon & we enjoyed cooling off in the pool after being out & about during the day.

There is not enough room here to tell how great Port Douglas is. It is our home away from home, we love it.
People are super friendly.
So much to see and do. We have been going for almost every year for 20 years, no same old, same old. We always have different experiences.
During June July August and September weather is perfect high 20s little humidity, no cold nights.

Port Douglas is my happy place.
Port Douglas is my happy place. Such a laid back town where nothing is stressful & busy. From backpacker accommodation through to 5 star resorts there is a place for everyone.
Its where the rainforest meets the sea. Mossman Gorge up the road offers spectacular walks in the UNESCO Listed Daintree Rain Forest. A little further up is the road you can do a crocodile spotting river cruise or cross the Daintree River & head up to Cape Tribulation.
Port Douglas is The only spot to go out & see the Great Barrier Reef. The trips take you 50km out to the outer reef where you'll be blown away with the beauty that will surround you.

Beautiful location.
Beautiful location.
Town itself is great, great atmosphere, food at the Iron Bar was the best.
We based ourselves in Port Douglas and it was central to either going up to Cape Tribulation or down to Innisfail
Fantastic opportunity for us to see so many beautiful places up FNQ

Port Douglas is totally a tourist town.
Port Douglas is totally a tourist town. Accommodation is over-priced in my opinion compared to other stays holidaying in Aust. Needed a rental as too hot to walk far. Not really suitable for older visitors. We are in that category. Enjoyed 3 good restaurants.

Always a great stay in PD.
Always a great stay in PD. We prefer to stay out of town along the beautiful 4 mile beach but super easy to get in via foot on the waterfront or the numerous shuttle buses that work through to all hours of the morning.

Port Douglas is a quirky mixture of down-to-earth eating and drinking establishments alongside sophisticated and sometimes quite expensive restaurants. Shops are of a type normally found in resort townships catering for the budget traveller as well as others. A vibrant night-life but always feels safe for the older traveller.
Great location right in the heart of Port Douglas. There were two pools, one heated, and one not. BBQ facilities and lots of undercover parking onsite. Staff that run the rooms are not onsite - yet were very easy to reach and were very helpful. Very spacious rooms, amazing shower. We would definitely recommend this hotel for others.
The spacious and comfortable house was perfect for our stay with two families. We found the beds very comfortable and the big walk-in closets practical in the main bedrooms. The pool was great for the youngsters. The location in Craiglie means that one needs to drive about 6km to Port Douglas Marina - it worked fine for us.
I booked a small room (studio apartment). My mistake but the manager was very helpful and when a larger apartment became available we were able to move into it.
The apartments are on Port Douglas' main street. It was easy for us to access all we wanted on foot. Our kind of place.
Nice apartments clean inside needed a bit more lighting does have a lift pool area nice well kept gardens 1.3kl from Port Douglas need a car to travel or you can walk beach across the road about 4 minutes not a bad place to stay
This modern, beachfront hotel was just the ticket for visiting the cute little resort of Port Douglas and Four-Mile Beach. Steps away from everything, the facilities were contemporary, clean and convenient.
