We went to Australian football (not soccer) game here and we did not understand the rules but it was great! The crowd was wonderful and we cheered when our side stood up and cheered! This was a super way to be a part of the culture! It was just FUN.

Love Manly.
Love Manly. We went for a wedding which was right on the water. It is such a great place. We didn't have a car and we were only there for three days but it is close to everything shops, cafes, restaurants. You can just walk to everything. If staying longer I would get a car and travel up the coast.

Excellent location (accross the road to manly beach and one block away fron the Corso), fairly priced, tidy rooms, friendly staff - all in all great place to stay for a few days.
It's location is perfect. Manly beach is just across the street or a short walk down the Corso with shops and many restaurants to the Ferry wharf that can take you back to Sydney CBD. There was a guest lounge on the 1st floor with tables and chairs and lovely outdoor patio which was much appreciated since our room was very small.
The location. ( across road from Manly Beach, cafes, shops etc ) Memories from the past. View from window aided by a very large mirror. , large room, good fan and A/C.
At time availability of car spaces. Able to get 2 rooms together. Friendly staff. Kitchenette in room.
Good location, right across the road from Manly Beach.

If you want to go to Manly Beach in the summer, get the 9 am ferry - if a cruise ship is in, the later ferries are full and you might have to wait. They come every 20 minutes after 10, but you still would have to wait.
