Room was comfortable and very clean and everything worked as it should.
The RSL type club attached was good and well run.

I had no idea what to expect, but the room was really clean, comfortable. Bathroom was huge but older style. More than adequate. The staff were fabulous. Friendly and helpful. One even asked if I wanted my bag carried upstairs. I was fine, but impressed that he asked.

A great place to relax by the beach.
A great place to relax by the beach. Ettalong has a small village town to service its people and visitors, and if you want more it is a small drive away. The beach faces to the sea opening and has a lifesaving club to manage it. There are heaps of cafes and restaurants around to cater for everyone's pallet including a modern RSL club with great food and friendly staff. Accommodation places are everywhere at various prices and sizes, so it depends on what you needs and pocket is as to what you can book. But booking in advance is a must if you want to get anything on the foreshore. The same goes for the cafes and restaurants on the foreshore during peak season time, booking is a must. Then down the street a little ways (maybe 1.5km) is an Italian forum, where there are heaps of cafes, speciality shops and craft & gallery shops, definitely worth a visit. You can also take the ferry from Ettalong to Palm Beach, a lovely day trip elsewhere. The place is 60K from Sydney so an easy drive, and great for a weekend away, mid week escape or a holiday with the family. The Matra Hotel is great, as it has 1, 2, 3 bedroom self contained accommodation and is on the foreshore, has a large swimming pool (not heated though - pity) and a gym. Check Ettalong out, you will be pleasantly surprised!

Our apartment at " Mantra Ettalong Beach" was perfect. Beautiful room, wonderful large balcony, very modern and beautifully clean. Had absolutely everything we needed. Great parking and very easy and straightforward check-in. Could have stayed there forever.
Great location close to shopping, restaurants, club and beach. Apartments are well appointed, nice large pool and seating area looking out onto Ettalong Beach. Rob from Base Holidays was excellent to deal with, very helpful and nothing was to much trouble. stay there again.
This place is so beautiful. We only live 40 minutes away but love to just spend the night here every so often to enjoy the hotel, restaurants, pool and Ettalong beach.
The location is beautiful and the resort makes you feel like your walking through a little village in Italy.
If you are lucky enough to be greeting by Peter at the front desk. He is so helpful. And even organised ice for us as he saw we had a bottle of champagne.

I was so surprised on how nice and spacious this property was, the kids enjoyed the private pool while the adults enjoy the undercover area, everything was so close and handy, from the beach for swimming or fishing to the shops and restaurants, I definitely recommend this place for a family of six or less, the kids will have a fantastic time, I'm definitely rebooking this place again, thanks you Accom Holiday Rentals Ettalong Beach.
The staff were amazing and the location itself gave you alot of options for activities during the day and for dinner at night. A short walk to ettalong beach and the main strip.
Felt much better staying here than a corporate run hotel chain, the facilities may not be 100% perfect for a family with a pram but the staffs friendliness makes up for this.
Felt great supporting a local business and I hope they stay around for years to come.
