Staff very friendly and informative about area. Included a free breakfast which was lovely. Had a beautiful card for my birthday which was very special and lovely to come back to at the end of the day. Beautiful spots to sit and relax in front of the fire. Highly recommend

The room and location were fantastic. The tavern and restaurant provided great food and a lovely ambience with the large wood fires going. Being so close to the wildlife as well was amazing. We saw Wombats and Paddymelons every day right outside our room.

Beautiful place, fantastic walk around the lake. Peppers Resort was great, we stayed in a resort room with a Jacuzzi on the balcony and the staff even built us a snowman on the balcony railing. It had snowed the day before we arrived and the landscape was beautiful.

Cradle Mountain is just stunning.
Cradle Mountain is just stunning. There are walks for all ages & abilities. Go to the Visitor Centre & ask questions & they will definitely give great advice on walks that are best for you. You wont be disappointed, dress warm though.

The hotel is very close to the visitor centre of Cradle Mountain. The room is large and warm, and the staff is very friendly. The restaurant provides a great view and serves awesome food.
The hotel itself is in such a perfect location for the Cradle Mountain National Park and all of the hikes. The hotel staff were absolutely exceptional, Charlie in particular, assisting us with all our questions. The breakfast is also delicious.
Hotel is conveniently located near to Cradle Mountain Trails. We appreciate the heater in the bathroom & free use of laundry machines. We like that we could relax in front of the fire place at the library area reading or socialising with other guests.
Spectacular accommodation right on the doorstep to Cradle Mountain.
We loved everything. The apartment was brand new. The size and layout were beyond our expectations. The bed was huge and plush. The bathroom was massive with plenty of hot water. I enjoyed a long hot bath.
The lounge area had a fireplace. Just perfect for a cold night. Sliding doors led out to a covered deck where it was private and very peaceful.
Staff at Discovery were so helpful. Nothing was a problem. And the little on site store was well stocked.
The apartments were spacious with a lovely view. So close to Cradle Mountain and easy walk across the road.

Great Apartment, excellently equipped with all you need, everything in best order, with kitchen and great shower, bed and effective heating (it got cold in the night). We enjoyed the place as a great starting point into Cradle Mountain NP very much!
Perfect location to go to the tazzie devil sanctuary, and catch the shuttle to dove lake to see cradle mountain. Free wifi in club house, non in rooms, no TV either no phone access . Wildlife active at night, saw devils, wombats and a platypus (in the hotel pond). Gas open fire in room, lovely and warm, beds comfy. Free washing machines and dryer.
Great location very close to the Cradle Mountain Visitor Centre and access to the national park. Cabin was very comfortable with kitchenette - we self catered for 2 nights and got takeaway from the hotel one night.
Lovely to have privacy and peace and quiet.
Excellent, really tastefully designed cabin by a small lake. Quite and surrounede by wildlife, but with the facilities of a large hotel next door. Right next to Cradle Mountain NP entrance.
