The accommodation was in an excellent location, right in the heart of Mackay city. Easy walking distance to cafe's, bars and restaurants. It was a quick trip from the airport to the accommodation and it also allowed for us to call a cab from the front desk at check out. The staff at the reception counter at check in were excellent, happy and accommodating (even though they experienced some technical issues).

Absolutely nothing about the accommodation. The restaurant was lovely and the staff were excellent!! It was the restaurant that made my experience better.
The Kooyong Hotel offers accommodation just 2.8km from the Mackay city centre. There is bar/ lounge on site to enjoy a cold refreshment after a long day of traveling.
