excellent food in the gourmet packages, but also the buffet is exceptional. good range of activities for kids in-house (pool, activity room with billard + arcade + ping pong + golf + ..., board games, playgrounds, even a second indoor wet playground, personnel to look after the kids). we participated in a pottery class in house that was also good fun.
The Gasthof zur Post in Untertauern is located 300 metres from the Wildlife and Amusement Park and a bathing pond. It offers a free ski bus and a spa area.

The food was very good. It is very close to the ski bus to Obertauern, no need to drive as long as the bus is free and the time to Obertauern is about 10 min.

Beautiful apartment fully equipped even for long stays. Nicely located with amazing out of bed views. We came with a dog and we did nit need to pay extra for her, so this was a lovely gesture. Owner Valerie is very kind and helpfull. This will be my choice again when returning to Obertauern.
Our friendly host, Monika, has been amazing. She handed over the key cards and showed us around the apartment that was very pleasant, well equipped and clean. The view is spectacular. Ample underground parking spaces.
The location is perfect with a bakery and restaurants on the doorstep. The surrounding area is spectacular, lots of walking trails in the mountains, cable cars, lakes and an amazing waterfall nearby. If you want a great holiday, you will need to go to Insieme in Obertauern.
We return to Obertauern every year since 2009 when we have discovered it. This year we have chosen Edelweiss Hotel for the first time and we were delighted. The Hotel is great, the closest one can imagine to the ski slope, fabulous dining experience, incredible wellness centre and above all, very kind and carrying staff. We have also enjoyed, the lunch brakes at Luerzer Alm.
Extremely good localisation! The ski slopes are really just outside the hotel. The staff was very friendly and helpful, food was delicious! Saunas were always empty so we were able to use them. The swimmingpool has water at a very pleasant temperature. The gym was also usually empty and easily usable. It was very silent in the hotel. It is a very good option to buy dinners at the hotel as there is very limited number of other open restaurants in Obertauern!

Staff members were friendly and really helpful. All of our expectations were met. We travelled to Obertauern a lot already but I can say it calmly that Hotel Alpina is currently the BEST choice for a longer ski-trip stay. Room was exceptionally clean also.
