We recently stayed at Lederer hotel in Kaprun and we were thoroughly impressed. The location is perfect, offering breathtaking views of the Alpe. The rooms were spacious, modern, and impeccably clean, with all the amenities one could need.
One of the highlights was the Kaprun Summer Card, which the hotel provided. This card gave us free or discounted access to many attractions and activities in the region, including the stunning Kitzsteinhorn Glacier and scenic lake cruises. It added incredible value to our trip and made exploring Kaprun and the surrounding areas so much more enjoyable.
Overall, Lederer hotel provided an outstanding experience, and I would highly recommend it to anyone visiting Kaprun.

The location was perfect, the breakfast was very diverse and has something for everyone. You can have a great view in the morning sitting outside with breakfast. The staff is super friendly, the room me and my friend had was perfect for the type of vacation we were looking for. Modern bathroom and shower, super clean. The facilities in the basement were great too (table tennis and the gym). There's a hiking trail right across the pension, there's a lake and river right nearby, the dam is only 1,6 km away, the Sigmund Thun Klamm is super closeby as well. An apartment is great option for family or group of friends who would like to enjoy Kaprun and area. The apartment is located close to Maiskogelbahn ski lift which you can reach with car in 3 minutes. Apartments have included sauna, which is great amenity after long day of ski plus there is place to store your skis and dry up or warm up your ski boots . Apartments are close to Kaprun spa as well.
Convenient location, lifts can be easily accessed by the local bus service. Not too many people at the Maiskogelbahn lift area. The city is in walking distance. The building has a sauna, although it is open only 3 days a week.
Perfect hotel in centre of Kaprun. Walking distance to the Maiskogelbahn. No need to use ski bus. Very good food, we definitely recommend half-board. Spa center nice but in the time of our stay, Finnish sauna was out of order so the spa was a bit crowded. View of Kitzsteinhorn was just amazing.
Very helpful host, good value for money. Maiskogelbahn is 10 min with a ski bus that stops 30m from the house, easy access to ski room. Everything as advertised.
Pension is absolutely amazing! Big rooms, very cozy, warm, located really close to MK Maiskogelbahn lift (5-7 min walk), separate room for skis. Some kitchen appliance is also available in the room.
And Mr Griesser is very hospitable, open and friendly.
I really enjoyed staying here and happy to made this choice.
The apartment was a 15-20 minute walk to the Maiskogelbahn and it was an easy walk to all the restaurants. The apartment was a good size.; it could have fit 6 (double bed & bunk beds in the bedroom and a pullout) They also offered online check-in (which I didn't take advantage of). Parking was also available. Nice views from the balcony. Herr Eder was readily accessible.
Some restaurants we really enjoyed are Hilberger's, Der Dorfstadl, and Kitsch & Bitter.
It was very close to the lift, there was a locker next to the Maiskogelbahn to store our ski equipment. We had acces to the locker all the days. It was very convenient. The hosts were very helpful and kind, and lived in the building. They were very fast to resond to all our questions.
The room was clean and the bed was one of the best you can get as a guest. really comfortable. I had a small room with 1 bed because I travel alone. breakfast was really good, a lot to choose from. distance to maiskogelbahn with the car is 4 minutes. One of the best thing and probably a reason to book again here in the future: I had the chance to take shower and cleanup at the end of the day of my checkout. I went skiing from 09.00 til 13.00 came back to hotel, took shower and hit the road back to the Netherlands at 15.00
