What a wonderful hotel!
We have stayed in accommodation all over the world and Hotel Kaiserin Elisabeth is up there with the best. Perfectly located in the heart of Vienna with very comfortable rooms and a lovely breakfast each day. However, what makes the hotel one of the best in the world is undoubtedly the friendly and helpful staff. From the wonderful assistance received from the reception staff prior to and during our stay to the staff in the breakfast room and the young men who helped me with my bike and our luggage, they all had the same friendly and helpful approach to making sure our stay was as comfortable and hassle free as possible.

Absolutely horrible exhibits.
Absolutely horrible exhibits. As a Jewish visitor, I was appalled by the negativity and grotesquely distorted view of Jewish life. They could have told so much about the rich history of Austrian Jewry before the war, and how the community has rebuilt itself since them. Instead, it's filled with post-modernist "art" that isn't even vaguely Jewish and makes the stomach turn.
