Perfect location on top of the Alpine mountains, very close to the Glasglockner mountain! We loved our stay in this place, because the food was amazing, the hotel stuff was welcoming and nice and the food was just superb! Dont think twice and book you stay at this place and you will not regret it :)
Originally built 500 years ago, the Döllacher Dortwirtshaus is one of the oldest buildings in Carinthia. It offers Alpine-style rooms, fine cuisine, and hiking tours with llamas.

We are hiking the Alpe-Adria-Trail and arrived pretty well drenched after heavy rainfall. The manager got our clothes all dried including our boots. The property is immaculately maintained and has great sauna facilities including an infra red one that was great for our backs in particular. The luggage transporters ripped us off by charging 195 euros to move one bag to two hotels. Hotel manager was horrified at the price and got on phone and it “magically” came down to 95 euros. Top marks to mein host 👍. The food was delicious.
In the centre of Bad Gastein, the family-run Comfort Rooms Bruckner is a 2-minute walk from the Stubnerkogelbahn Cable Car, and offers next door thermal bath treatments, as well as regional cuisine...
