This museum essentially embodies one man’s love affair with the sea. Its gobsmacking centrepiece took Benjamín Sisterna 60 years to gather – a 30,000-strong wall of shells that wraps its way around the first two floors. Elsewhere, a live tidal pool exhibit shows off various slinking organisms, while even the café boasts towering aquariums of colourful crustaceans.
